Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of our Frequently Asked Questions. If you have any other questions, please contact us!

“What is the base material?”

All of our jewelry is hand-welded out of bronze and electroplated with either 14 Karat Gold, 14 Karat Rose Gold, or Rhodium. We do NOT use any casts or molds in our process. Each piece is one of a kind.

“How should I care for my jewelry?“

Our jewelry is made with high-quality materials and is durable enough for everyday wear. To clean, lightly rinse with water and gently dry with a soft cloth. Do not buff or polish, doing so will wear off the gold or rhodium plating. For longer lasting rings and bracelets, remove before washing hands. If the plating is wearing, we can re-plate your jewelry for $5.00 (plus shipping). Contact us for more information.

“Will my jewelry tarnish?”

Because our jewelry is plated in 14 Karat Gold and Rhodium Platinum, it will not tarnish like traditional silver jewelry. Over time and with excessive washing the metal plating can wear off and expose the bronze base. Please read our information about proper care above. If you experience this wearing with your jewelry, we will re-plate any piece for $5.00 (cost of shipping). Please contact us for more information.

“Can I wear my jewelry in the pool?”

You can wear all of our jewelry in the pool, ocean, and shower. Chlorine and salt water will not affect the gold or rhodium plating or tarnish like traditional silver jewelry.
